Why custom, on open source
Custom ERPNext, built for how you work. Owned by you.
Own it.
ERPNext is open source under the GNU GPL v3, and the Frappe Framework it runs on is MIT-licensed. The code, the database and every customisation we build for you belong to you, with no per-user licence and no vendor lock-in.
Shape it.
Off-the-shelf ERPs make you change how you work. We do the opposite: your workflows, approvals, reports and screens, built as clean Frappe apps that survive every upgrade.
Run it anywhere.
Frappe Cloud, AWS, your own server, even on-premise in the factory. Move whenever you like and take everything with you.
Your choice of hosting Frappe Cloud, AWS, DigitalOcean or on-premise
Scheduled backups kept off the server and tested by restoring them
GST-ready e-invoice, e-way bill and returns data via India Compliance
Controlled access role-based permissions and change history on every document

Where do you want to start with ERPNext?
Pick what matters to you. Every card opens a page with the details, so you only read what you need.
ERPNext implementation: your process first, then the software.
Custom shouldn't mean open-ended. Every project runs in fixed-scope phases with a fixed price, so you know what you get, when, and for how much.
01 · Discover
Map how your business really runs
A discovery workshop with your accounts, stores, floor and sales teams. You get a written process map, what we'll use as standard, what we'll build, and a fixed quote per phase.
02 · Build
Standard where it fits, custom where it counts
ERPNext covers the common ground. Your own workflows, approvals, screens and reports are built as a separate Frappe app, with a demo every week so nothing surprises you.
03 · Go live
Clean data, trained people, phased switch-over
Data moved from Tally, Excel or your old system and checked. Every user trained on their own screens. Go-live module by module, starting where the pain is.
04 · Grow
Support, upgrades and the next phase
An annual support plan keeps you running and upgraded. When the business changes, the ERP changes with it as the next fixed-scope phase.

Is ERPNext really free?
The software is. ERPNext is open source under GPL v3, with no licence fee for any number of users. You pay for implementation, any custom development, hosting and support.
Is ERPNext a good alternative to Zoho, SAP Business One or Tally?
For many small and mid-sized businesses, yes. ERPNext covers accounting, inventory, manufacturing, sales, purchasing, HR, payroll, CRM and helpdesk in one system. It is open source, so there are no per-user fees and you can host it on your own server. Licensed ERPs can suit teams that want a fully vendor-managed product. We help you compare honestly on your own requirements.
Does ERPNext handle GST, e-invoicing and e-way bills?
Yes. The open-source India Compliance app adds GST, e-invoicing, e-way bills and GST return reports to ERPNext. We set it up and test it as part of every Indian implementation.
Which industries do you work with?
Textile and apparel, F&B chains, distribution and retail, manufacturing and export, machinery sales and after-sales service, and education.
